Cheering on the Demise of the Left/Right Political Dichotomy

What will be the finisher: Ivermectin or Election Fraud?

Yes, I know: giving energy to the political left/right charade — as toxic and simplistic as it is — can appear counter-productive. But it is still a real thing. No real collective progress forward will happen until whatever current surface issues that divide these two camps are suddenly made to look ridiculous and small — perhaps after the realisation of just how fundamentally similar and profound their core beliefs actually are.

So with that in in mind, here is the good news: Ivermectin has officially reached the political left — thank the secular God of re-purposed, cheap, off-patent and not-DNA-altering drugs! Add this to liberal-luvvie Jon Stewart daring to throw his wait behind the Wuhan lab leak conspiracy (much to the confusion of many of his followers, see this headline) and we might be about to see the ideological walls start to crumble.

This is the most recent article from one of my favourite such-self-identified writers, Matt Taibbi (most noted for his coverage of the Global Financial Crisis and its roots in Big Business corruption). You can read an excerpt here, but will need to sign up for the longer and definitely worthwhile read.

I am prone to be optimistic about the coming to an end of corruption (hence the whole Q thing), but I really do think the dam is about to break. I don’t think there is a better way to put it: perhaps not just metaphorically, but potentially also literally in places like China and the under siege Three Gorges Dam.

Ivermectin crossing the political barrier — in the same way a jab-induced spike protein might end up crossing a blood brain barrier — would be huge. These are people who, to this date, have been following diligently every major aspect of the Covid narrative — lockdowns, masks, vaccines — putting faith in the leaders of their thought movement to be somewhat honest about the scientific fundamentals of the pandemic. If they suddenly found out that the whole time they were being lied to, and that there was indeed a properly safe and effective treatment being suppressed all along, that could spell the end of the whole Covid narrative.

More importantly, they will be disgusted, and I would guess they will be out for blood: just like the right has been for a while now. Who’s to say it won’t take a thirst for crimes-against-humanity tribunals to finally bring ideological enemies together?

For sure, I can see the residual reluctance when I read these pieces. Taibbi’s article, towards the end, includes the phrase “Ivermectin may never be proven effective as a Covid-19 treatment”, which essentially elevates his own concept of the word ‘proven’ over that of the qualified experts he cites.

He clearly doesn’t want to fully acknowledge yet that Ivermectin works: remaining more safely on the fence, taking issue primarily with the undeniably problematic principle of its censorship. This might be a purely political stance, so as to make the crux of the article easier to digest for his readers. But it will, as a result, encourage many of them to do the same: cling on to remaining doubt, rather than fully concede to how radical of a lie they have been sold.

Maybe it is ego, maybe it is naivety. Or perhaps they will just avoid at all costs having to admit that those conspiracy people might actually have been right about something so important.

But, in fairness, the left are right(?) to be cautious. Health is not the political left’s strong suit (that’s sounds a bit harsh, but is also kinda true, hence their love for science to intervene in these matters). Indeed, there must be some pretty fundamental knowledge gaps to have prevented (before this pleasant development) any major voice from the left to see the importance of the Ivermectin story for what it is and speak up.

What the left do know is the nature of propaganda and power — or that disinformation is real and dangerous. They know that people on the right can be susceptible by nature to the existence of saviours, the very notion of miracles, even just to excesses of hope — all of which have been applied to the promise of Ivermectin. How do they know that Ivermectin is not just another psy-op to distract from real abuses of power?

Yet it is because the left are so good at understanding the nature of propaganda and power, and how it can be yielded to devastating effect, they will also be able to see this for what it is: simply through the now very familiar patterns of behaviour in how the saga has unfolded.

They know how well the elite establishment has been able to successfully demonise, for their own benefit, anything that can be tied back even in the most tenuous way to Orange Man (the link from Hydroxychloroquine to Ivermectin is easily made, after all).

They know how brutal Western-dominated institutions and power structures are, and are well aware that these powers will happily sacrifice the plebs (think 9/11 and the resulting wars) as a pretext for their power-consolidating agendas. So it is not too much of a stretch to believe that these same people might be quite happy to let the masses die by suppressing a Covid treatment as a pretext for their power-consolidating agendas.

Psychopathy is psychopathy, at the end of the day!

And so once they catch on — once they see that it is as easy to manipulate the narrative about science and medicine as it is about politics, once they see how this suppression fits into the Big Pharma follow-the-money formula, once they realise just how acutely Big Pharma represents the structures of White Supremacy that they have long been railing against — then the game will be over, and the partisan dichotomy will be on the verge of collapsing in on itself.

If Ivermectin isn’t the straw that breaks the back of this dichotomy, maybe election fraud and the events of January 6th at the Capital building will be.

Here is another notable ‘left’ journo Glenn Greenwald, who is best known for breaking the Edward Snowden leaks with the progressive Guardian newspaper (despite these bona-fides, quotation marks around ‘left’ are needed, given he now appears regularly on Fox News). He lays out the evidence for the role of US intelligence agencies in infiltrating some of the major right-wing groups who participated in the Capital riots.

Hmm. What if, after the savage ideological blow of finding out the truth about Ivermectin, the left also comes to realise that January 6th wasn’t simply a bunch of crazed white supremacist nut jobs trying to hijack Democracy under the influence of that sweet sweet Orange Kool-aid. That it was, in a very real sense, a Deep State inside job — planned by the same intelligence agencies and carried out by the same for-hire anarchists who hijacked the Black Lives Matter rallies in many cities and turned them into self-defeating riots in many cities? And, as a final finishing blow: that this false flag was undertaken for the express purpose of further cementing into undeserved legitimacy the results of what was actually a fraudulent and stolen election?

Am I being fancifully naive to think such things, to dream such dreams: that it is only a matter of time before we see the anti-imperial left and the Qanon right holding hands and toasting over their newfound yet always present collective worldview — that this whole time, the real issue was just a bunch of mostly-white-and-male psychopaths gaslighting us all to think the other side was the enemy rather than them?

Meh, who cares what other people think of your beliefs. Nothing can stop what is coming, baby.
